About:
Yogananda is a distinguished visual artist and MFA graduate from the Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts (CAVA), Mysuru — 2001 batch. With over 27 years of artistic experience, he has created and exhibited numerous artworks across Karnataka, India, as well as internationally in the USA and Canada.
His portfolio spans paintings, installations, and art direction in the Kannada film industry. A recipient of the India Book of Records (2017) and the Karnataka State Award for Painting (2024), Yogananda’s work often reflects strong themes of social awareness.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, he is a national silver medalist in swimming (2017) and has served as a professional swimming coach at Ramakrishna Vidyashala, Mysuru. Currently, he continues his art practice as a freelance artist and runs his own creative space — YogaArt99 Studio, Mysuru.
