About:
I am Vishwakarma Acharya, a senior alumnus of CAVA, having completed my education in the Painting department. Subsequently, I established the Shantiniketan School of Art in Chikkamagaluru and have been working as its Principal for the past 28 years. I am active in the field of art as a designer, sculptor, painter, and art organiser.
I have been honored with awards from the Karnataka Shilpakala Academy and the Karnataka Lalitakala Academy.
I have served as a State Member of the National Education Policy and currently serve as a member of the Curriculum Committee of Kannada University and a member of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Committee.
Presently, I am serving as an Honorary Member of the Karnataka Shilpakala Academy-Bangalore.
