Ranju P.

Ranju P is an award-winning photojournalist who has been working with Prajavani and Deccan Herald newspapers since 2012, covering a wide range of stories across Karnataka with a distinctive visual style. He graduated from CAVA’s Department of Photography and Photojournalism in 2011. Over the years, Ranju has documented an extensive spectrum of subjects, including fashion, sports, politics, riots, business and everyday life. His ability to find compelling frames in fast-moving situations has made him a trusted visual storyteller in the field. He is a four-time winner of the TCS World 10K Marathon’s Best Published Photo award. In 2018, he won the first prize in the Lok Sabha Election photo contest conducted by the Election Commission of India. He is the recipient of Chief Minister’s Cup photo award conferred by Photojournalists’ Association of Mysore in 2025. Ranju is a native of Palahalli village near Srirangapatana , when not in field he is busy maintaining his farm next to the river Kaveri.
